This is an English version for convenience. The German privacy policy is authoritative.

Summary

• This website sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics or marketing tools.
• Fonts are served from our own server, not from Google or other third parties.
• We only process personal data when you contact us, and to operate the website securely (server log files).
• YouTube videos are only loaded when you actively click on them.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website runs on our own servers hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in data centres in the EU. A data processing agreement is in place with Hetzner.

When you visit the website, our web server automatically processes: IP address, date and time, requested address, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, referrer and browser identifier (user agent). This is technically necessary to deliver the website and serves security purposes (e.g. detecting attacks and abuse).

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). Log data is deleted after [LOG RETENTION PERIOD REQUIRED] unless needed longer to investigate a security incident.

3. Cookies and local storage

This website sets no cookies and stores no data in your browser. That is why there is no cookie banner.

4. Contact form and email

If you write to us via the contact form, we process your name, email address, optionally your company, the selected topic and your message. To prevent abuse, our server briefly processes your IP address (rate limiting); it is not stored permanently and not sent with your message.

The message is delivered as an email to our mailbox. For delivery we use the Brevo service of Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany, as a processor. The data is not used for advertising and not added to any newsletter list.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We delete the data once your enquiry has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

The same applies if you contact us directly by email or phone.

5. YouTube videos

Some pages may include videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). No connection to YouTube is made when the page loads. Only when you click “Load video” is the video loaded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Google then receives your IP address and other technical data, may set cookies and may transfer data to third countries, in particular the USA.

The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). More information: Google privacy policy.

6. FeldmannCyber App

The FeldmannCyber App at app.feldmanncyber.com has its own privacy notice, which users receive when their account is set up.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Contact contact@feldmanncyber.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Our competent authority is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (HBDI), Wiesbaden.

8. Security

This website is served exclusively over HTTPS, uses a strict Content Security Policy and loads no third-party content unless you actively load a video.

9. Changes

We update this privacy policy when the website or the services used change.
